Web Apes Identity

Here comes the Apes! Web Apes LLP is a web application developer company created by three young partners. They wanted to portray themselves as a young and trendy web application developer, not like the usual boring and techie competitors.

We created the identity with an ape’s face for the logogram with curve and rounded font for the logotype. If you take a bit closer to the ape’s face, you will see three apes with their hands up forming the eyes and mouth. The little apes in the face is a subtle message representing the three partners. The little apes hands are also form a “W” – together, there are three “W”s which represent the www (world wide web) since their business is online web-based application.

We also came up with the slogan “We create Apemazing Apps!” to brings out further the fun side of their identity by replacing the word “Amazing” with “Apemazing”. The “Web Apes” itself is a homophone with “Web Apps” (Applications).
